Giving Hope NOLA founded by Troy and Tracy Duhon began feeding the community as thousands of people fought for their lives after Louisiana's greatest tragedy, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Fourteen years later Giving Hope continues this mission and feeds 1,000 people daily. Crescent Pilots join Giving Hope to help them continue their vital work in the community.
THE SAMARITAN CENTER
The Samaritan Center offers emergency assistance, provides food and limited assistance for utilities, rent/mortgage, transportation, & medicines. It is their hope that with God’s grace they may be able to assist those people in need on their path back to self-sufficiency.
